Next Generation
The substantial increase of funding for the Young Canada Works at Building Careers in Heritage (YCW-BCH) programme by the Department of Canadian Heritage in 2016, allowed the Canadian Museums Association to fund more than a hundred new internships in Canada. Since 1996, the YCW programme successfully promotes Canadian heritage and the careers of Canadian youth who wish to work in museums and heritage organisations. (Read stories of the next generation.)
