Explore 150 invites Canadians to discover thousands of sites across the country

As we get closer to Canada’s sesquicentennial, TakingITGlobal launches Explore150 (explore150.ca), an online platform that sets out to collectively map out over 25,000 Canadian sites of natural, cultural and historical significance across the country. Supported by the Ministry of Canadian Heritage, the Canada 150 Signature Initiative hopes to inspire communities to discover and celebrate their connection to the places most significant to them by collectively creating a digital time capsule for 2017. Users can interact with sites by adding them to their bucket list, checking-in on the app, answering trivia questions, sharing snapshots and composing guestbook entries. (Read more…)
